“Boredom” is a new project by Saul Zanolari.
Started on November 2nd 2015 (by chance also Marie Antoinette’s birthday).
It directly follows SZ Chapel.
It talks about boredom as a human condition.
A Golden Age when Boredom is a privilege.
Everything starts by the basic human needs like Thirst, Sleep and Hunger and it develops in Boredom.
The composition is made of 13 portraits:
Sleep (Bear), Thirst (Fish), Hunger (Cat and Rats), Laugh, Tree Woman with Nest, Tree Man with Nest, Pinocchio, Venus of Willendorf or Woman of Willendorf, statue, 28000 a.C. , Nike Winged Victory of Samothrace, Greek statue 200-180 a.C., Venus de Milo Greek statue 130 a.C., Louis XVI King of France 1774-1792 , Marie Antoinette Queen of France 1774-1792
Tree Woman with Nest, Tree Man with Nest and Pinocchio they are the Tree Family.
Wooden made, human shape.
They remind of MarieAntoinette and Louis XVI’s wooden stick.
Man and Woman will have deep roots in the earth carrying nest and eggs of a new humanity.
The first “try” of a new humanity is Pinocchio.
